High Dividend Yield Stocks In 2015

I have been extremely busy recently, and this will likely to continue for at least another 2-3 weeks. So I don't think I have the "energy" and "mood" to study companies in Jan15.

I only manage to view today's market now at 10pm. I can see that those exporters are gaining big after the lunch break.

From recent news and articles, everyone is optimistic about exporters and pessimistic about O&G and property. This has been reflected in recent stock market.

Today, I have many reds in my portfolio and many greens in my watchlist. Am I too late to make a move? Can I join in now?

Sorry, I don't have enough cash... I think I will only buy at the next major market correction. Hopefully I will have enough cash by then.

Anyway, I received an email from from HLIB today regarding 15 high DY companies in year 2015.

It's great to see that all 3 property stocks I own are in the list (Tambun, Matrix, Huayang), and they have the lowest projected PE too.

Anyway, property sector is not expected to do well this year, so are their share prices.

From this list, I only have interest in Uchitec, Wellcall & Pantech, and the latter 2 are already in my watchlist.

I think I should study Uchitec deeper next.

Other than all these, Hevea, Homeriz, Mitra (property again!) also look good to me.

  1. Hi Bursa: historically, YTL did not give high div each year.
From the list, I like wellcall the most, unfortunately it is not traded cheaply as the KLCI.

Eagerly to read your assessment on Wellcall.

Personally, I hope the recent hike on NRL and big drop on CI would cause panic selling by traders, creating buying opportunity for us. Although it is very unlikely, it is still a hope.

Wishing you a prosperous new year.

    1. Wish u a successful year as well.

I'm a bit lazy lately... esp to analyse high PE stocks, hehe. I read about Wellcall from CTYap's blog.

      Anyway, what is NRL?

  3. looking forward to your blog about uchitec... there's a lot of buy and sell by the majar shareholder... and it is weird to see the sentence "Pursuant to Paragraph 14.08(a) of MMLR of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the following person has notified of her intention to deal during the closed period in connection with the expected release of 3rd quarter results ended 30 September 2015"....
    sound fishy...
