From the proposals released by Eco World last week, I notice that it has acquired another piece of freehold land in Seberang Perai Selatan, other than the one at Simpang Ampat near Tambun toll.
The 17.5 acres land is in Mukim 9, about 3km south of Nibong Tebal town, and 1.5km west to USM campus which is at the Penang-Perak border.
Even though these 2 projects in Mukim 9 & 14 in Penang mainland are miles apart, together they are named as Eco Meadows which will only be launched in year 2015.
Compared to Mukim 14 land at Simpang Ampat which is near to Batu Kawan and PLUS highway, this Mukim 9 land is less strategic and is located in less happening area between Nibong Tebal and Parit Buntar town.
From the valuation done on 31 Dec 2013, the Mukim 9 land is valued at RM19 per sq ft, while the Mukim 14 land is worth RM40 per sq ft.
